Anakin had his 1 year appointment yeasterday. Yes I am REALLY, Really behind, he will be 2 on March 1st! So he got 4 shots and had his blood drawn. His weight and height are good. Bad news: I dont know what its called but hopefully I can explain it to where it will make sence. You know that thin piece of skin under your tongue? Well Anakins come all the way out to the tip of his tongue to where he actually has a cleft in the tip of his tongue, its not really noticable unless you know its like that. When he was born Dr. Rutherford said he wanted to wait until he was older to see if it would tear on its own naturally, well it hasnt and we think it is effecting his speech, so he will have surgery on Feb. 12 to correct it. The Dr. said its a really simple procedure they do have to put him to sleep though to keep him still.
I had them check Piper because I had noticed she has been looking pale. At first I wasnt sure cuase she has this bride dress up dress that is bright white that she lives in, but yesterday she was wearing purple pretty much from head to toe and still looked like a ghost! So I asked the to check her iron while we were there. They did the finger stick and her levels are pretty low, so he gave her prescription vitamins and did a blood draw for a more detailed report.
I also got check out so they could schedule me to check my wrists for carpel tunnel, so I go friday for that test. They dont bother me much but I cant apply for full time at my job until I know for sure I can pass the companys test.

Finally online!
Well its been a LONG timesince I have updated on here, so much has happened!
We bought a house in Brush Creek, yes we are back in Smith County, where we said we would never go! We got a great deal on it! Its a 3 bedroom 2bath has 1356 sq feet, and we got it for $60,000! We have actually made it into a 4 bedroom, we decided Jade needed her own room, so we made thefoyer the dining room and gave Starla and Piper the old dining room, ther is a door on the side next to the kitchen, so we just hung a pretty curtain on the side by the hall. They love it, Piper calls it thier "lovely door." We have a big front yard, that will look huge once the trees areout of the way! Stephen, his dad and his uncle cut down 6 trees on New Years eve that were either dying or to close to the house, and the pieces are still all over the yard!
I am an Aunt now! Daniel Evan was born September 20th. Thanks to Heather H. Being the wonderful person she is and coming down to Vanderbilt and getting Piper and Anakin I actually got to watch Evan being born! I got to stay in the NICU with him for almost an hour before they kicked me out! Evan had a condition called gastrocenticis,( no idea if I spelt that right!), he was born with his intestines on the outside of his belly(yes, I know ewww) but he was VERY strong and went through the surgery with flying colors, and recovered a lot quicker then the doctors expected. While she was pregnant they told Jeannie he would be in there a couple of months, but he went home when he was 2 weeks old! He is doing great now and is a doll!
Jade and Starla are going to New Middleton Elementary, and they love it here! Can you believe their school has one class for each grade! Ohh and it gets better, I am SO fascinated by this, Jades 4th grade teacher was Stephens 4th grade teacher! Her daughter is Starlas 2nd grade teacher! Jade only has 15 kids in her class, Starla has 19 but they have 2 teachers! They have not had any trouble with kids at this school being mean, or had any trouble with their work, they are really happy up here. Jade and Starla are now in Girl Scouts as well, and the troop leader lets Piper come hang out with them and if it’s a craft she can do she lets her make it too! They love it! They were in the Carthage and Gordonsville Christmas Parades, Piper got to ride on the float in the Carthage one with us, she loved it!
Piper got her very 1st hair cut last weekend! She turned 4 December 23rd and it had never been cut! She hated having it brushed so it was time. But she would only get it cut if she could have it like Dora’s hair! So its short but it looks adorable on her!
Anakin is the biggest brat ever! He will not stay out of ANYTHING! And saying “no” or spanking him does not faze him on bit! He will do it again and give you this look like “I dare you to try to stop me!” What is that?! This is new to me! The girls all you had to do was give them a mean look and they wouldn’t even think of doing it again!
I have been working 3rd shift for about 4 ½ months now, I really like my job and the people their but the shift is staring to take its toll on me! Plus I am still a temp, I can not apply for full time because they do a carpel tunnel test as part of their physical and I wont pass it. If you fail it they don’t even let you stay as a temp they just let you go.
Stephen really likes his job at Lochinvar, he hass only been there 4 months and has gotten 2 raises and has another coming in March! But something even more exciting on his part, I think I have mentioned before about him making small movies, well he started a couple years ago just messing around and made a short movie with the girls, then he did some other short films with friends and his brother. I may be bias, but I have always thought he did really good with them, especially considering it wasn’t something he was putting money into, he had to work with what he had. Well he went to a fundraiser with his mom for her job(she works at the Help Center up here), she said there was going to be a lot of people there that are influenced on stuff like movies, tv and music. We he actually got to meet a guy that is a director, they talked some and Stephen mentioned he wants to get into film, the guys started asking him about his work so he told him about his movies and the guy told him to email him his information, that he would be interesting in seeing his work, so when Stephen emailed him, he put the links in there for his myspace and itube where his movies are online. The guy showed up at my MIL’s job and told her he was really impressed with Stephens work and he is definitely interested in working with him! I am so proud of him!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I actually “hosted” and had my family and Stephens here, I cooked everything! We had 14 people here for dinner. Amazingly both our moms actually got along and everyone had a good time.
Christmas was great! The kids got a lot of toys they really didnt need! Lol For the 1st time in 5 years Stephen and I were able to shop for each other and our families.
We got a new van a couple of months ago! I got a 2007 Kia Sedona! It was preowned, it had 46,000 miles on it, but we have never had a vehicle with less then 150,000! It drives great and has plenty of room! And the windows on the back sliding doors roll down! I was and still and fascinated by that!
